SheWorks Membership Terms & Conditions

By purchasing, activating, or using a SheWorks membership, I acknowledge and agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions, in addition to the SheWorks Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any additional policies or agreements applicable to the services I use.

Membership & Access

My membership provides access only to the spaces, services, visits, and amenities specifically included in my selected membership plan. Memberships are individual and may not be shared or transferred unless expressly authorized by SheWorks.

Access to SheWorks is subject to applicable operating hours, building access, availability, private events, maintenance, closures, and other operational needs.

Membership does not guarantee access to a particular desk, workspace, room, amenity, or reservation time. SheWorks may temporarily limit access to portions of the space when reasonably necessary for maintenance, events, safety, operational needs, or circumstances outside SheWorks' control.

The Frame, private events, professional photography or videography, classes, workshops, and other separately bookable spaces or services are not included in a coworking membership unless expressly included in the applicable membership plan or otherwise agreed to by SheWorks in writing.

Building Access & Active Construction

SheWorks is located within Old City Hall, a building that is currently undergoing ongoing construction, renovation, and restoration.

Members and their guests are permitted to access only SheWorks' designated spaces and the common areas reasonably necessary to enter and exit those spaces, including designated hallways, elevators, stairways, and restrooms.

Members and guests must not enter, explore, or wander into other suites, floors, construction areas, restricted areas, or portions of the building that are not designated for SheWorks use. Construction conditions may change from time to time, and areas that appear accessible may not be intended or safe for public access.

Members and guests must comply with all posted signs, barriers, building restrictions, and instructions provided by SheWorks, building management, contractors, or other authorized personnel.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SheWorks is not responsible for injury, loss, damage, or other incidents arising from a member's or guest's unauthorized entry into or use of areas outside SheWorks' designated premises or approved building access areas. Any person who disregards these restrictions and enters such areas does so at their own risk.

Billing & Membership Changes

By enrolling in a recurring membership, I authorize the recurring charges associated with my selected membership according to the pricing and billing schedule presented at enrollment.

I am responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and for paying all amounts due under my membership.

Membership cancellation, changes, refunds, credits, and any applicable notice requirements are governed by the terms of my selected membership plan and any written policies provided by SheWorks.

Failure to pay amounts when due may result in suspension or termination of membership access.

Shared Space & Member Conduct

SheWorks is a shared community environment. Members and guests are expected to use the space in a respectful, safe, and considerate manner and in a way that does not unreasonably interfere with another person's ability to use or enjoy the space.

Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, illegal activity, excessive or disruptive noise, unsafe conduct, intentional misuse of the facility, or behavior that materially disrupts the SheWorks community is prohibited.

SheWorks reserves the right to address conduct that presents a safety concern, materially disrupts the community, violates these terms or other applicable policies, or constitutes misuse of the space.

Guests

Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with these terms and all applicable SheWorks policies.

Guest access is subject to the rules, availability, and fees applicable to the member's plan. A membership may not be shared or used to provide another individual with ongoing access to SheWorks in place of purchasing their own membership, day pass, or other appropriate access.

Members are responsible for the conduct of guests they bring into SheWorks.

Children & Childcare

A coworking membership does not constitute enrollment in SheWorks childcare and does not include childcare unless childcare is expressly included in the member's specific plan.

Children participating in a SheWorks childcare session must be separately registered and booked in accordance with applicable SheWorks childcare policies, enrollment requirements, agreements, and waivers.

When a child is present with a parent or guardian outside of a booked SheWorks childcare session, including in any area in which children are permitted to accompany members, the parent or guardian remains responsible for the child's direct supervision, safety, and conduct at all times.

The presence of SheWorks staff does not create a childcare, custodial, or supervisory relationship outside of a properly booked childcare session.

Children accompanying members may only use areas in which children are expressly permitted and may not enter construction areas, restricted building areas, staff-only areas, or other portions of the property not designated for their use.

Reservations & Use of Spaces

Reservations are subject to availability and to the policies, rates, capacity limits, and permitted uses applicable to the space being reserved.

Members must respect reservation start and end times and leave reserved areas in substantially the condition in which they were found.

Coworking membership may not be used in place of an event, studio, class, photography, or other applicable rental.

Activities involving organized groups, professional photography or videography, classes, workshops, events, client gatherings, or other uses outside ordinary coworking require prior approval from SheWorks and may require a separate reservation and fee.

Use of The Frame is governed by the applicable booking terms and is not included with a membership unless expressly stated in the member's plan.

Privacy, Photography & Recording

Members and guests must respect the privacy of others using SheWorks.

Members and guests may not intentionally photograph, film, or record another member, guest, staff member, or child without appropriate permission.

Professional or commercial photography, videography, content production, or similar activities may require a separate booking or prior authorization from SheWorks.

Personal Property

Members and guests are responsible for their own belongings while using SheWorks.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SheWorks is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen, misplaced, left behind, or damaged while on the premises.

Members should not leave valuable or sensitive belongings unattended.

Damage & Cleaning

Members are expected to treat SheWorks, its furnishings, equipment, and amenities with reasonable care.

Members are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their children, or their guests beyond ordinary wear and tear.

SheWorks may charge the responsible member for reasonable repair, replacement, or additional cleaning costs resulting from damage, misuse, or conditions requiring cleaning beyond ordinary use.

Any damage, spills, safety hazards, or facility concerns should be reported to SheWorks promptly.

Safety & Building Rules

Members and guests must comply with reasonable safety instructions, building rules, access procedures, emergency procedures, posted signage, and other operational policies communicated by SheWorks or building management.

Access credentials, door codes, keys, or other security information provided to a member are for authorized use only and may not be shared with unauthorized individuals.

Members may not prop open secured entrances or otherwise circumvent building or SheWorks security measures.

Members and guests are responsible for using SheWorks facilities and amenities appropriately and for immediately reporting conditions they reasonably believe present a safety concern.

Assumption of Responsibility

Members understand that use of a shared physical workspace involves ordinary risks associated with being present in and using a commercial building and shared facilities.

Members are responsible for exercising reasonable care while using SheWorks and for complying with safety instructions, building restrictions, and these Membership Terms.

Members are also responsible for the conduct and supervision of their guests and, when applicable, children accompanying them outside of a booked childcare session.

Nothing in these Membership Terms is intended to waive or limit any right or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

Changes to Operations & Amenities

SheWorks may reasonably modify operating hours, access procedures, facility rules, amenities, furniture arrangements, available workspaces, reservation procedures, and other operational aspects of the membership experience as business and building needs evolve.

From time to time, particular amenities, rooms, or portions of the facility may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, repairs, construction, events, safety concerns, building operations, or circumstances outside SheWorks' reasonable control.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or an applicable membership agreement, temporary unavailability of a particular amenity or area does not automatically entitle a member to a refund or credit.

Suspension & Termination

SheWorks may suspend or terminate a member's access for nonpayment, material violation of these Membership Terms or applicable policies, unsafe or unlawful conduct, misuse of the facility, unauthorized access, or conduct that materially interferes with the safety, operation, or use of SheWorks by others.

Serious safety concerns, threatening behavior, unauthorized access to restricted areas, or other circumstances requiring immediate intervention may result in immediate suspension of access.

Any outstanding payment obligations or responsibility for damage incurred before termination remain due after membership access ends.

Additional Services & Agreements

Certain SheWorks services may be governed by additional terms, policies, waivers, or agreements.

These may include, without limitation, childcare, The Frame, events, private rentals, classes, workshops, or other specialized services.

Participation in those services may require acceptance of the applicable additional terms before use.

SheWorks Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

These Membership Terms supplement the SheWorks Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and are intended to govern the use of SheWorks' physical membership spaces and membership services.

To the extent applicable, matters addressed by the SheWorks Terms of Service, including governing law and other legal provisions, remain subject to those terms.

Agreement

By accepting these terms, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the SheWorks Membership Terms & Conditions. I understand that my membership provides access only to the spaces, services, and amenities included in my selected plan and that additional terms, policies, agreements, or waivers may apply to specific SheWorks services.

I further acknowledge that SheWorks is located within a building undergoing ongoing construction and renovation, that my access is limited to SheWorks' designated spaces and approved common access areas, and that I am not permitted to enter or explore restricted, construction, or other unauthorized areas of the building.

By selecting “I agree” or otherwise accepting these terms electronically, I intend to provide my electronic acceptance of these Membership Terms & Conditions.
